In this clip, listen as two Black women share their frustrations with the perpetuation of institutional racism and its maintenance. One of the women observes how COVID forced white people specifically to recognize Black lives and care about George Floyd in a way they never had before. However, the fact that Floyd was murdered in the first place and the Trump administration was able to take office demonstrates how this generation is experiencing a lot of the same cycle of racism over and over.
