Constant Concern, Extended Emergency

In this clip, listen to two professors talk about the difficulties in figuring out how to support students and community members. One of them, the dean of the school of education, talks about the disruption to student teachers in placements as schools shut down. They talk about how the challenge lay in the constancy, the extendedness, and the uncertainties of crises.

But also I think too that what was really challenging and disruptive is not knowing how to support folks not knowing the answers because we just can’t unilaterally make decisions.
