Clashes of the Digital Divide

In this clip, professors speak about the digital divide that impacted many of their students, as well as increased surveillance. The virtual world, which should facilitate accessibility in some ways, has added more ways for institutions to surveil, judge, and discriminate against people.

Not all students had access to stable connectivity… and so there’s just a lot of this clash of intersection of class issues and also a little bit of ableism.
