In this clip, two Black man share their exhaustion with carrying the weight of the “dual burden” in which they try to live normal lives while also constantly having to educate others on the Black experience in the U.S. One of the men describes that while it is encouraging to see marches and protests for Black lives, he recognizes the importance of continued conversations, acknowledging the heaviness of those conversations sometimes is crippling. The other man shares how he thinks those conversations should continue and he does not believe that any form of separatism or separatist mentality is helpful. They commiserate with one another about how much more work needs to be done and they discuss what they looks like respectively.
