Finding a Therapist in the Pandemic

Listen as a young Black friend talks about the challenges of finding therapists and seeking mental health services during the pandemic. She describes two experiences where therapists had way too much going on with the pandemic or personal lives that they couldn’t continue working with her. In the end, she has found different ways to cope and seek the mental health services she needs independently, primarily through journaling or Instagram posts that help her reflect.

Ultimately, that’s led me to journaling a lot and looking for other kind of self-improvement people via Instagram and therapists via Instagram.
