Who Do We Go to for Support?

In this clip, listen as a Black brother and sister discuss who they go to for support in their respective communities. While they work in different fields and cities, they share a similar appreciation for their grandmother and how supportive she has been for them in offering a listening ear and unconditional love whenever they need it. Supportive circles can come in all shapes and sizes but it’s who is in them and how they lift you up that matters.

I know like no matter what you’re going through [our grandmother] she may not understand but she’s going to love you. She may not hear everything but she’s going to love you.
