Resistance and Research Within and for Our Communities

In this clip, grad students talk about how the summer of 2020 shaped their research. One of them shares how she felt mobilized to speak against anti-Blackness in her Vietnamese community and to help her family members understand systemic racism. This then opened space for her bring these issues into her graduate research.

That was actually like a really crucial time to then let me bring in more race, ethnicity, identity and thinking about power and politics into my research.
