Listen as the Dean of the UW Graduate School discusses the leadership decisions she made during the pandemic and how a lot of those decisions came from trusting her staff. For instance, she decided not to have meetings on Fridays and curtail some of the work that the Graduate school was trying to do to make life easier for everyone. She proudly shares that “no big balls were dropped.”
