Breathing for Resistance

In this clip, you will listen to the speakers discuss the application of mindfulness techniques in their daily lives. We often discuss what mindfulness skills are, and this clip highlights how these skills become developed and turned into daily practice.

  1. I’ve found that practicing breathing techniques I learned in yoga classes to be very helpful in releasing stress and anxiety. This is especially true when I have trouble letting go of the cares of the day at bedtime. It doesn’t always work right away, but if I keep at it I usually am able to get a good night’s rest. The comments on minimalism and essentialism were intriguing. I’d like to learn more about those concepts and how they can be applied to resistance thru resilience.
