Listen as these two dialogue partners discuss their experiences with white women fetishizing interracial relationships and having mixed children. They observe how some white women will explicitly seek out Black men for the how adorable their mixed children would look. One of the partners reflects on conversations and experiences he’s had talking with his friends who have dated white women that bring up wanting mixed children. In response, the other dialogue partner comments on how these women want Black features for their children but ignore their Blackness and the Black experience in the U.S.
White women want their kids to have these certain mixed looks or these Black looks, but they don’t want the Black experience. Your child is still gonna be Black, boo.
