Seeing Alone Time as Good

Listen as a Black friend describes how her isolation during the pandemic has made her see alone time more positively. While it was incredibly challenging to be in constant isolation especially during the pandemic, she has chosen to see it as good. This time has allowed her to be more self-reflective and try new things like taking an extra class with her friend. The only downside was that even when she did try new things it was always over zoom, which didn’t help with her zoom fatigue.

I think one good thing that the pandemic has brought, which I guess is also a bad thing, but I try to view it as a good thing: the alone time. I’m alone all the time… I’ve been alone more times this year than I have been my entire life.
