Coping

In this clip, two Black siblings share their coping strategies with one another and what experiences they have struggled to cope with. Both agree that they haven’t been coping and that they have experienced immense pain throughout the pandemic from the loss of their family members to the neglect of major corporations on health and safety. She recounts her frustration and disappointment in airlines that decided to ‘pack the plane’ instead of following COVID-19 social distancing protocols (making her vow not to fly until the pandemic is over). She even recalls how even going to grocery stores is unsafe because of their lax cleaning practices. In the face of all of this, it is hard to cope.

I’ve had a headache that will not leave for the last week and a half.
