Language and Power

In this clip, two Black girls discuss the power of language and responsibility. They talk about the example of a white person being “allowed” to say the N word, and the challenge of interrupting that moment of harm. They also discuss the importance of understanding when to interrupt and education, as well as uniting across racial lines against racism.

It partially is my responsibility to interrupt racism, but I feel like I can’t do it alone because I’m only one person.
