How the Pandemic Changed Mental Health Career Aspirations

In this clip, a college student shares how the pandemic changed her interest in a mental health career. While the culture changed around mental health conversations being more open, the student switched her major to public health because she wanted to focus on making inaccessible resources more accessible.

The mental health crisis of our generation was really exposed. I think that that’s good, but it also made me realize that I didn’t want to be in a field where everybody had their exact own opinions and experiences about it, and that’s why they were doing it.
