Remembering Where We Were at the Start of the Pandemic (1)

Listen as a UW student reflects on how things changed for him when the pandemic first began. The first thing he remembers is how close it was to finals week in March of 2020 and how finals shifted to being online. He also remembers how the following autumn quarter things continued to be online so he made changes to his home and workspace to adapt to going to school online.

We got used to zoom and discord and slack…I bought a desk, invested in some wifi and installed everything I needed to do and just got used to being on the laptop all the time.
