Daily Isolations

Listen to a student describe her daily life during COVID and the feelings of isolation. With her parents at work and her brother doing virtual middle school in a different room, she was alone for the majority of the day doing schoolwork. She also worked at a grocery store, which meant many friends were hesitant to hang out with her due to the higher risk of contracting COVID-19.

We would just be in our designated rooms, just doing Zoom meetings and school work online, and I didn’t really hang out with too many people because I think at that point it was still pretty intense with COVID.
