Virtual Humanity

Listen as the Dean of the UW Graduate School shares how her leadership was founded on compassion and grace and trust and humanity. She worked to remind her staff that people’s humanity was the priority and as long as the work was getting done it didn’t matter when or how. Starting with kindness and recognizing people might need to do things like keep their cameras off are examples of how she worked to practice humanity despite working virtually.

We’re all walking wounded. So let’s just be gentle.
