In this clip, listen as two graduate students discuss the ways in which the pandemic highlighted positive and negative aspects of humanity and what they themselves take away from the pandemic. They consider the ways in which the pandemic exacerbated human selfishness and inequity. At the same time, they were also able to recognize when the pandemic allowed people to come together and demonstrate selflessness. They use examples of their own lives and how they enact selfless behaviors.
