In this clip, a Black man shares how, as a transplant to Seattle, he had to find the Black community and how the local Black community in the Central District became home. He describes how, when he was introduced to the Central District, the people reminded him of his own family, and he was embraced warmly and wholeheartedly.
Community is what you make it. Family is who you embrace in your circle and you should not discriminate what that looks like.
