Listen to two Black graduate students engage in a dialogue about “radical rest” and what that looks like for them. Self-care involves listening to your body, prioritizing rest, and making time for community. They reflect on how often self-care and restorative rest is delayed for things like school or work. Self-care sometimes seems unattainable because we haven’t reached our goals, or we are undeserving of rest yet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These students radically incorporate restorative practices into their lives to ensure their bodies and souls can not only rest but also maintain the stamina necessary to live out their lives and work. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
