Annette shares that they recognize how incremental and slow change can be because hegemony is deeply embedded and perpetuated. They direct their efforts toward systems and recognize how widespread their damage is and try to parse out the difference between individual and systemic damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>I believe that the biggest impact we can have, is on the structures.
