I Feel Like I Had to Start Over When I Came Back in Person

Listen as a first gen UW students share the difficulty of returning in person and learning how to socialize with new people again. They discuss how cautious people were when returning in person and how differently people interacted than before the pandemic. Especially considering they were no longer freshman, their college years had been interrupted and they kind of had to start over almost.

It wasn’t the same aspect that it was freshman year. It was very welcoming but everybody was standoffish because we were still in a pandemic and people were still keeping their distance.
