Listen as a first-gen UW student shares the difficulty of online learning as a biology major. Because most of their classes were labs, they couldn’t conduct experiments in the same way, making it difficult for them to learn. Additionally, living at home brought added pressures and responsibilities making it a challenge to find time for schoolwork, especially such demanding schoolwork.
I also had to balance my family life. I really couldn’t do anything and work schedule. So, I would just watch the videos, try to do my best and it ended up not working out for me.
