There Was Just a Day When I Felt Really Hopeless

In this clip, listen as a UW student emotionally described the extreme burnout he experienced during the pandemic. He recalls how he “snapped” and sought help with his counselor who recommended he get additional help. However, it was incredibly difficult to receive mental health care during the pandemic because there was so little availability and so few providers.

I knew that I needed possibly get more help but given that there were so many issues with mental health going on with people it was so hard to find a psychiatrist.
