Being a Rock

Listen as the Dean of the UW Graduate school vulnerably shares how she had to be a touchstone for her family, students, friends, and co-workers. She discusses the people that supported her and could commiserate about the pressures she was experiencing. At the same time, she felt she had to remain reliable and steady for a lot of people which made this a particularly emotional moment for her to talk through.

I haven’t time to stop and do a whole lot of self care. So, I’m really tired.
