Listen as a UW staff member shares how she became extremely intentional with using her time with students to check in on their mental, physical, and emotional health during the pandemic. She made sure to prioritize checking in first before asking the student questions about school because she wanted to be intentional about holding space for checking on people. Her sone reflects that the pandemic made him also more intentional about asking people if they were okay.
